School Staff
Northenden Community School employs over 40 members of staff , including teachers, teaching assistants, lunchtime organisers, playworkers, a play therapist, caretakers and administration staff. We do not publish a full staff list or include photographs of staff on our website. At our school, there are:
- 1 Headteacher
- 1 Deputy Headteacher (non-class based) who is also the SENDCO
- 9 class teachers, including part-time teachers (one class has a job share)
- 1 PPA/cover teacher (2 days) who also teaches small groups
- 14 teaching assistants (full-time and part-time staff)
- 1 School Business Manager
- 1 School Administrator
- 2 Caretakers (part-time)
- 12 Lunchtime Organisers
- 6 Play/Childcare Workers in our morning or after-school club (some shared staff)
- 3 Kitchen staff (employed by external company, Manchester Fayre)
- 2 peripatetic music staff (woodwind teacher and brass teacher)
- visiting staff (Educational Psychologist, school nurse, SEN outreach staff)
- 11 governors (voluntary position)
